Staying Rooted While Traveling Forward, Moving from Wholeness on the SoulPreneur Journey

Years ago after recovering from 5 long, excruciating years of PTSD, trauma and a long list of ailments. I tried my hardest to take what I had learned through my recovery and help others recover, too.

This cause and venture was very near and dear to my heart, but I later learned, not a skill set I wanted to build long term.

It was a span of a few months when clarity set in and it became clear to me that it was not the right space for me to be in or grow from.

However, it was a very important stepping stone along my SoulPreneur Journey and something I needed to explore before moving forward to something else.

Deep down I knew this.

But I also knew that if the space felt good to me, I would have stayed.

I learned so much from that experience. I learned so much about people and about myself.

Since then, I’ve explored many niches and found ones that pique my interest, my intellect, touch my soul, and challenge me perfectly.

What I study and teach also evolves, shifts and changes with humanity and our individual and collective levels of consciousness.

It is fascinating to me day in and day out.

For me, after finding my life’s work in niche areas I never imagined myself in, I keep showing up and continue to travel deeper within myself and bring what I find to the surface to share with others.

It continues to be a deep diving expedition. A translation. And a delivery.

In order to stay grounded along the way, I constantly remind myself of three things day in and day out.

The first is a set of principles I live by. What started off as one yellow sticky note stuck to my desk, evolved over time into multi-colored sticky notes on my computer screen, wall, bulletin board, writings, torn pieces of paper tattered in scribble, and eventually taped onto black pages and filed in a binder.

Printed thoughts, quotes, reflections, and insights that move me to the core organized for me to study, reflect upon deeply and feel, fall separated into paragraphs and tabs.

These reminders are what holds my energy with love, care, and presence. For me, principles are freedom filled laws I choose to live by in order to feel fully supported and grounded at all times. These principles keep me on my path.

What principles might you build your life’s work from that keep you moving forward with ease and grace?

Secondly, I created a philosophy that seamlessly supports the laws I created for myself. These, too, have evolved from scribbled down notes, quotes I fell in love with, and ways of thinking that shifts me into a higher vibration every time I review them. This philosophy keeps me inspired.

Do you have a list of go-to reminders that shift your way of thinking into something you prefer to experience? That supports you in all that you do and in all that you are?

Lastly, I build from what I know. This means I build from the experiences I encounter, the learning I collect as I move forward, and the wisdom I collect along the way.

I’ve noticed that each and every day and in every single moment, my roots grow deeper and my heart grows bigger as I travel this vertical path of service to others and discovery within myself.
