It’s a cool, early morning, I glance out the window and watch the sunrise bring a soft glow to the dark blue sky.

Sipping very hot tea, I bring an important message for your journey ahead.

It’s not true that you will figure it out, then start.

It is true you will figure it out and find your way as you go.

You will start and re-start every day, every moment. This is what it will feel like, as you’re unaware of the seeds you’re planting and stitches you’re mending in the background.

You cannot be aware, because your higher self is guiding you to what you cannot see.

It will all make sense and come together in perfect timing.

Some soak in waiting waters for decades, sometimes eons… before starting.

Waiting for the right time. For perfection. For the right place or the right way. 

Waiting to figure it all out before taking action. Waiting to be ready. 

I used to be this person, until I learned “ready” as you know it, doesn’t exist.

“Ready” is a procrastination ploy. Anything holding you back between where you are now and where you want to be, is a procrastination ploy, but especially the myth of “ready”.

“Ready” is a bookmark nestled into between two pages of fear.

Waiting to be “ready” is attempting to control what you aren’t allowing to flow.

“Ready” is an illusion where you hold back your free will in exchange for a self-made cage where you sit in more illusions of safety, security and fear. Re-living the same comforts while wishing for more. More expression, more alignment, more of doing what you love.

Ready is a lie. It’s a trick…

Learning… learning enough before starting is an illusion of preparation. It's a mirage on the stage of life. Learning is what happens as you go. 

The only thing real and necessary is for you to be and to do. 

To be and to do. 

To do what, you ask? To do one hundred wrong things in order to find the one or two right things. Doing this alone will excel you above many.

To do what aligns with your feeling of purpose.

To do what occurs to you. It’s very simple.  

To try as hard as you can to fail every day for one hundred days straight so you can embrace what you call failure, as to see the value and gifts within it, and notice successes. To breed success in this way. To get better at learning what success means to your journey and you, as you go.

To allow yourself the journey of such discovery, growth and development. 

To allow yourself the journey to you, as you, of you, by you. 

To give yourself the gift of fulfillment and travel in this way.

To allow yourself to unlock the path in front of you by blindly taking one step after another. 

As you look behind you, you will see the flowers bloom, the trees budding, the seeds sprouting… you will feel this magic taking place within you and around you.

But only as you step forward blindly. 

You will only grow in the unknown, pathless forest. It is the only way forward.

In the most magical of all ways. 

It is beautiful. 

It is you. You are the journey unfolding. You are the magic. You are the way. 

Tread lightly if you must before stomping. Tip toe if you must before sprinting.

But no matter what, dance joyfully through the chirping, bluebird sprinkled forest, breathe in the warm, summer air. 

Feel the energy around you as you twirl and spin. And wear your favorite shoes as you carve the path that is you. 

Don’t underestimate sitting on the wooden bench along the way, this my friend, is how you discover how to be. 

To be and to do. 

This journey is yours. You are the way. You are the path. You are the journey. 

You are simultaneously the traveler, the path, and the journey itself. 

The path you travel is what illuminates you. 

And you are the illumination. 

As I finish my last sip of warm tea, I hold my cup up to you and nod, cheers to your travels and to laying the bricks beneath your feet.

You are seen and loved as you bravely step into the unknown.
